On offer today is a Brand New Sheffield Sterling Silver handled Letter Opener. We were fortunate enough to obtain this piece from Saunders & Shepherd Ltd at the hallmark date and it has been in our collection of Silverware ever since. There are many patterns available, please view our collection.
The Candle End Pattern Letter Opener is fully hallmarked with the letter Y for 1966, the Lion Passant (English Silver) and the Crown (for the Sheffield Assay Office). The piece also bears the Makers Mark S.S – the Makers Mark for the highly sought after Saunders & Shepherd. The Letter Opener is supplied with a Presentation Case. Pristine, Brand New condition. Total length 21.5 cm weight 50 grammes.
