On offer today is a fantastic Genuine Richard Morton & Co 2 Piece Carving Set. The set features Sheffield Steel Head Pieces with Sterling Silver Ferrules mounted onto Stained Ivory Handles. Completely original, handmade in Sheffield, England. The set appears to have had hardly any use. Immaculate condition, truly a fantastic set.
The set is hallmarked with the Lion Passant, Crown & the date letter O for 1906. Makers Mark – RM; the Makers Mark for the highly sought after Richard Morton & Co. The Handles are in great condition for their age – the fork has a slight hairline crack but this is not noticeable but worth mentioning.
Includes a Presentation Case in immaculate condition.
Carving Knife measures 37 cm in length and weighs 140 grammes. Carving Fork measures 32 cm long and weighs 152 grammes.
Pristine condition that will only appreciate in time.
