The piece photographed is a Birmingham Sterling Silver handled Brides knife bearing the Old English Thread pattern. The piece is fully hallmarked bearing the Lion Passant (English Silver .925), the Anchor (for the Birmingham Assay Office) and the date letter U for 1894. The piece also bears the Makers Mark J.G for the highly sought after John Gilbert. It features a mirror finish blade. Pristine condition carefully restored by our Master Craftsmen. Total length of the piece is 31 cm and weighs 100 grammes. Supplied with a Presentation Box.
