Made in Sheffield, England by Mappin & Webb – a well renowned and highly respected manufacturer of Cutlery & Silverware. The set has been lovingly restored by ourselves back to original condition, ready to be enjoyed by another generation. An absolutely beautiful set that will only increase in value. You can see on the Game Carving Knife the remnants of the Mappin & Webb ‘Sunrise’ Mark – suggesting the set was manufactured before 1890 when the mark changed.
The Carving Knife is razor sharp and measures 34cm in length and weighs 165g. The Carving Fork measures 27.5cm in length and weighs 120g. The Game Carving Knife is razor sharp and measures 32cm in length and weighs 115g. The Game Carving Fork measures 28.5cm in length and weighs 110g. The Sharpening Steel measures 30cm and weighs 170g. All pieces are completely original and the original case is included.
