This is an extraordinary set of six Pairs of Knives and Forks with Sterling Silver ferrules and Carved Mother of Pearl handles. As the images show, the detail to the Blades and Ferrules is magnificent, and the set is in pristine condition – a perfect example of what Sheffield Silversmiths could manufacture.

All the Knives and Forks are assayed in Sheffield.

Each knife and fork is fully hallmarked with the date letter ‘H’ for 1925, the Lion Passant, and the Crown. Made by the highly sought after John Biggin.

The Knives measure 17.5cm and weigh 40g.
The Forks measure 14.5cm and weigh 30g.

This set would grace anyone’s home and would cost an awful lot in a retail outlet today.
