This is a beautiful set of Four Pairs of Fruit Knives and Forks with Silver Plated heads and Carved Mother of Pearl handles. As the images show, the detail to the Blades and Ferrules is magnificent, and the set is in Perfect Condition – a fantastic example of what Sheffield Silversmiths could manufacture.

There are no hallmarks on these pieces, but we recognise the provenance based on pattern books. We estimate the year of manufacture to be Circa 1880. Made by the highly sought after James Dixon & Sons.

The Knives measure 19cm and weigh 43g.
The Forks measure 16cm and weigh 27g.

This set would grace anyone’s home and would be a wonderful gift.
