Made in Sheffield, England by George Wood & Co of Sheffield – a well renowned manufacturer of Cutlery & Silverware. The set has been lovingly restored by ourselves back to original condition, ready to be enjoyed by another generation. An absolutely beautiful set that will only increase in value. The cannon shaped Buffalo Horn Handles are rich in colour and have been polished to a high shine. A Silver Plated Cap is featured on the end of each piece, all in great condition and the ferrules bare a wonderful pattern – a beautiful set that feels great in the hand. The Carving Knife (Blade marked George Wood & Co Manufacturers Sheffield) is razor sharp and measures 36cm in length and weighs 130g. The Carving Fork measures 28cm in length and weighs 122g. The Sharpening Steel measures 33cm and weighs 190g. All pieces are completely original and the original case is included.
