The Scales are made with layers of Sisal Canvas Fibres – a lightly woven pattern which is then infused with resin (ensuring the scales are stabilised). This ensures a perfect material for you to create your knife handle. Micarta is famous for having a variety of excellent properties – it is waterproof, colourfast & incredibly dense ensuring that the scales will not swell or warp with a variety of temperatures and humidity.

Superior quality that is durable whilst offering a fantastic pattern. The first image shows the scale after sanding and polishing to show you the contrast of the scales. The second image shows what you will receive – a pair of scales that are in 12 x 3.5 x 0.8 cms each in size, ready for shaping to your knife.

This pair is Coyote Brown in colour (a famous camouflage in the US Military).
