This is an extraordinary set of twelve Pairs of Knives and Forks with silver plated ferrules and Carved Mother of Pearl handles. As the images show, the detail to the Blades and Ferrules is magnificent, and the set is in pristine condition – a perfect example of what Sheffield Silversmiths could manufacture.
All the Knives and Forks are manufactured in Sheffield, around 1920.
Presented in a fantastic wooden and crushed velvet case.
The Knives measure 20cm and weigh 40g.
The Forks measure 16.5cm and weigh 30g.
This set would grace anyone’s home and would cost an awful lot in a retail outlet today.
