On offer today is a Brand New Sheffield Sterling Silver handled Letter Opener. We were fortunate enough to obtain this piece from A. Haviland-Nye at the hallmark date and it has been in our collection of Silverware ever since. There are many patterns available, please view our collection.
The Thread & Shell Pattern Letter Opener is fully hallmarked with the letter F for 1973, the Lion Passant (English Silver) and the Crown (for the Sheffield Assay Office). The piece also bears the Makers Mark A.H.N – the Makers Mark for the highly sought after A. Haviland-Nye. The Letter Opener is supplied with a Presentation Case. Pristine, Brand New condition. Total length 25.5 cm weight 65 grammes.
