On offer today is a Brand New London Sterling Silver handled Letter Opener. We were fortunate enough to obtain this piece from A. Haviland-Nye at the hallmark date and it has been in our collection of Silverware ever since. There are many patterns available, please view our collection.
The Feature Hallmarked Pistol Pattern Letter Opener is fully hallmarked for the Queen’s jubilee in 1977 (please see Queen Elizabeth II Head), the Lion Passant (English Silver), the .925 mark and the Leopard (for the London Assay Office). The piece also bears the Makers Mark A.H.N – the Makers Mark for the highly sought after A. Haviland-Nye. The Letter Opener is supplied with a Presentation Case. Pristine, Brand New condition. Total length 19.5 cm weight 35 grammes.
