Description
A Beautiful Solid Silver bladed Mother of Pearl pen/fruit knife with Exquisite Hand Carved and Engraved Pearl Scales, and Excellent Backwork to the springs.
In great condition for it’s age, the only fault to this knife is a small missing part of the pearl on one side, which by no means takes away from the elegance this piece has to offer.
Made and Restored in Sheffield. A Remarkable piece of History.
It bears the Crown, Lion passant, and based on these hallmarks and the details on the blade, we believe this piece to be 1798. There is no Makers Mark on this knife.
This piece measures 16cm and weighs 26 grammes. Presentation case included.
